In June of 2017, Jason M. Spivey was appointed President of Power Corporation of America (PCA). Mr. Spivey has been involved in the electrical construction industry for 28 years. Mr. Spivey started his electrical career as an Apprentice with Orlando Utilities Commission (OUC) and advanced to the positions of Troubleman, Transmission Lineman, as a Certified Journeyman and Transmission Foreman. In 2010, Mr. Spivey was promoted to Transmission Line Supervisor at OUC, a position he held for 5 years. In 2015, Mr. Spivey joined Southeast Power Corporation, a wholly owned subsidiary of PCA, as a Project Manager for the Florida Regional Office. Mr. Spivey was promoted to Assistant Vice President of the Florida Region. Additionally, Mr. Spivey holds electrical licenses for 11 states.
Vice President of Business Development and Corporate Communications
Jason Coffey was promoted to Vice President of Business Development and Corporate Communications for Power Corporation of America (PCA) in June 2017. Mr. Coffey brings 17 years of experience in the realm of client relations, communications, and business development. Mr. Coffey joined the group of companies in 2014 as a Project Manager for Southeast Power Corporation for power line and foundation construction activities. Mr. Coffey then was promoted to PCA with a position in Marketing before being promoted to Director of Business Development and Marketing. Mr. Coffey has also been involved in electrical construction operations for several regional offices in addition to assisting in corporate communications and business development. Prior to joining Southeast Power Corporation, Mr. Coffey spent 9 years at an instrumentation & controls government and industrial contractor serving highly technical roles within sales, marketing, and business development. During this time Mr. Coffey received extensive engineering level training within electrical, electronics, analytical, flow, level, pressure, temperature, radiometric-gamma, portable and fixed gas systems for precision instrumentation, sensors, and test & measurement equipment for power related industries and the US Military. Additionally, Mr. Coffey has extensive knowledge within principles & practices of ISO-9002 and ISO-17025 quality systems and the fundamentals & practices of metrology.
Corporate Safety Director, CUSP
Mr. Dan Gadacz was appointed to Corporate Safety Director of Power Corporation of America in July 2016. Mr. Gadacz began his career at Trans Tech Electric / Quanta Services. There Dan worked and supervised crews with installation of underground power, fiber, lighting, and highway digital message board signs. In 1999, Dan was promoted to Safety Director of which he saw oversight of a seven-state territory. In 2011, he took the position of Safety Director at Beyel Brothers Crane and Rigging and in 2012, he took the position of Safety Director at Gerelco Family of Companies. In 2013, Dan was hired as Safety Manager at Southeast Power Corporation, a wholly owned subsidiary of Power Corporation of America. Mr. Gadacz’s other accomplishments include receiving his Bachelors of Science degree from Indiana University in 1998 and obtaining his C.U.S.P accreditation in 2014.
Corporate Safety Trainer
Todd Reed was promoted to Corporate Safety Trainer for Power Corporation of America in 2016. Mr. Reed holds numerous certifications in the field of OSHA related safety. He is responsible for all aspects of OSHA ET&D safety training for the group of companies. Mr. Reed started at Southeast Power Corporation in 2014 as a Field Safety Manager. Prior to joining Southeast Power Corporation, Mr. Reed served as a Field Safety Coordinator for Service Electric formerly Dillard Smith Construction from 2010 to 2014. From 2000 – 2010, Mr. Reed was a Journeyman Lineman for several electrical construction companies such as Dillard Smith, L.E. Myers, and PAR Electric. Mr. Reed is a proud member of the U.S. Army National Guard and has been since 1983.
Fleet Manager, Logistics, and D.O.T. Compliance Manager
Mike Fisher was promoted to Fleet Manager for Power Corporation of America in 2016. He is responsible for all aspects of fleet management for the group of companies. Mr. Fisher has close to 30 years of experience with heavy equipment. Mr. Fisher started his career at Southeast Power Corporation in 1989 as a Lube Man. Mr. Fisher was promoted to a Field Mechanic in 1991. In 1995, Mr. Fisher was promoted to Shop Supervisor. Mr. Fisher is a U.S. Military Veteran; he served in the U.S. Army from 1978 to 1983 as a PFC, Combat Engineer in the 24th Infantry at Fort Stewart, GA.
The People and Culture Coordinator
Jennifer Cunningham is responsible for the efficient and effective coordination and administration tasks associated with the delivery of a professional and confidential generalist service to managers and staff within the group of companies. Ms. Cunningham started her career at Power Corporation of America in 2014 as an Executive Administrative Assistant. Ms. Cunningham was then promoted to HR specialist in 2015 before taking on the role of The People and Culture Coordinator. Ms. Cunningham received her B.A. in Interpersonal Communications & Marketing degree from St. Ambrose University.
